Hazel's Talk October 25, 2015: The mission of the church to invite all to come to Christ

One of the missions of the church is to invite people to come to Christ. I have three ways we can do that:

1. Be a missionary.

2. Answer questions when people ask about Jesus and invite them to come to church. 

3. Be an example. 

Alma 17:11 says, “And the Lord said unto them also: Go forth among the Lamanites, thy brethren, and establish my word; yet ye shall be patient in long-suffering and afflictions, that ye may show forth good examples unto them in me, and I will make an instrument of thee in my hands unto the salvation of many souls.” 

This means that Heavenly Father said to the sons of Mosiah: you are going on a mission to the Lamanites and if you have patience, long-suffering, and be an example, they will listen. The sons of Mosiah were going on a mission and being examples to the Lamanites and teaching them about Jesus Christ. 

I bear my testimony that this church is true and that we can all help be an example, and answer people’s questions, and be a missionary because we are all part of this church. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
